This dresser has been finished in a antique white and soft grey.  Under the distressed areas there is a hint of pink - with matching pink feet!!  The dresser has been coated for protection and I also added some pretty glass knobs to finish it off!  This would look great in a girls room or even as a change table - it is the perfect height!  3 large drawers for all your stuff.

More Window Frame Decor

 

 

 

This Piece was fun to do.  I took a window frame - took out the glass and added chicken wire behind it(painted cream).  I built a window box that the frame sits in and is attached to, both frame and box painted an antique white and distressed.  This one is decorated for Christmas, but you can place anything you like in it - for any season!!  Place it on a cabinet, on a shelf or hang it on a wall!!

This Cabinet I decided to try something a little different, something I saw someone do on a dinning table.  After stripping the top I stenciled a zebra stripe pattern on the top and then stained over everything.  I have to say, it turned out really good!!

The bottom half I am painting with Milk Paint, in a lovely creamy color - and of course distressing it!  I think I am in love with Milk Paint - you get a nice chalky finish - not a glossy finish.

It is almost finished - I will post pictures soon!!

This old wood buffet has been refinished in Black and Robins Egg Blue.  It has been lightly distressed, given new hardware(last pic) and coated with poly for protection. I have also stenciled a lovely 'birds on a branch' design on the front doors to make this piece an eye catcher.

It can be used in almost any room.  As a side server, in a ensuite for towels and makeup, as a TV console or in a entrance way for shoes and keys....the possibilities are endless!!

I'm Back I'm Back!!!!

Well, the summer is over...sniff...and the kids are back to school...small happy dance here.... so I guess I'd better get back to work!!  I dug through my shed full of furniture waiting to be beautified and picked out my first piece.  Here we go again....

Summer Holidays

For those of you wondering where I went, things have been a little busy this summer.  I have decided to put my work on hold for the summer and spend the time with the kids.  But I will be back with lots of new items come september!!!!  Have a good summer.

Unique Window wall Decor!

This adorable window frame has been painted turqoise, heavily distressed and coated for protection. I have removed the two top window glass and replaced with chicken wire painted antique white. It would look great in a hallway for hanging keys or your umbrella, on a shelf or in a bedroom - You can hang necklaces on the hooks and your earings on the chicken wire.
